Westside exists to reconcile people to God, through the grace of Jesus, step by step.

We are reconciled to God through the GOSPEL. The word “Gospel” means “good news”. The good news is Jesus — who He is, what He’s done and what He’s inviting you into. This news is the only thing anywhere that can truly transform our hearts and the world. If this is true (and it is), everything changes.

We respond to God’s reconciling love through WORSHIP. When you realize you have been rescued, you want to get to know your rescuer. We try to make our entire lives a “thank you” to Jesus for what He’s given us through the Gospel. One of the best ways to see Jesus is to experience a gathering of his church. Therefore, we are passionate about creating gatherings centered on Jesus and designed with guests in mind. We want you to feel proud to invite your friends, especially your skeptical friends, to church.

We are reconciled to each other through COMMUNITY. We believe that since Jesus has invited us to his table, we will invest our lives and share our tables with others…knowing that we need each other for the journey ahead. We are committed to the hard work of forging friendships that will fill us, challenge us, and send us out into the world. Therefore we will create lots of natural spaces where friendships can be formed naturally.

We are part of God’s reconciling work in our world through MISSION. This is our city...and we are grateful to live here. We choose to leverage our time, talents and resources to serve others, Christian or not, with humble and thankful hearts. We choose to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the city we love to seek the common good. We don’t go to church, we are the church. We will go be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever he’s planted us.
