TENTS

Tents are when our community gathers to declare our desperate dependence on Jesus as our rescuer, king, and treasure.  We believe that the Gospel of Jesus isn't just good advice...but GOOD NEWS.... the kind of news that will humble us out of our pride and truly transform our lives. 

TABLES

When you read the gospel stories you see Jesus sitting around lots of tables.  He liked to eat really good food with friends...and foes. As a community we eat together a lot because we believe since Jesus has invited us to his table, we will invite people to ours. We practice the lost art of hospitality by investing our lives and sharing our tables, laughing hard and eating well with others.

TEARS

Jesus wept. By and large, most gods are too strong, immovable, and plain busy to be concerned with our daily lives. However, the gospel stories tell us that as Jesus looked over a crowd of hungry people he was moved with compassion for them. This is our city...and we are grateful to live here. We choose to leverage our time, talents and resources to serve others, especially the poor, Christian or not, with humble and thankful hearts. We choose to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the city we love to seek the common good.
